Recently the venue of a concert for The Bachelors on their World Tour... a fantastic night was enjoyed by over 450 people of all ages.

Ricky Valance surprised everyone with a guest appearance and sang his no 1 hit for 16 weeks Tell Laura I Love Her... brilliant to have such a line up at Bar Restaurante Asturias.

Mary & Barry offer Dance Tuition for all ages on Monday and Friday mornings from 10am to 12pm.   They organise fund raising events regularly to support local charities.  On 10th February they raised 1,200 euros which was shared between Help Veja Baja and Help The Aged Charities.  The show was a great success and was well attended by local residents of Orihuela Costa and surrounding districts. 

On Sundays, a Charity Boot Sale is held from 10am to 2pm every week.  On 22nd February 2009 local charities received over a 1,000 euros each, raised by money paid by Stall Holders to Carlos who runs Bar Restaurante Asturias and his staff. 

The Stall Holders offer a range of used items from toys to household furniture, plants to a good book.  Without this weekly market they would not be able to offer their products which are recycled nor would  local charities benefit from the money raised in these hard times of recession.
